We can multiply these numbers together to get the character’s health score, which is returned to the calling code. by calling the ‘rolldice()’ subroutine twice, we generate two random numbers that simulate rolling two different dice. The ‘rollhealth()’ function is an example of how these subroutines can be combined to perform more complex task. ![]() By using subroutines, we can easily incorporate these random number generators into our code in multiple places, without having to rewrite the same code over and over again. These subroutines use the random module in Python to generate random numbers, which allows us to simulate the rolling of dice in a game or other program. In this case, we have created two subroutines - one for rolling a dice of any number of sides, and one for rolling a six-sided dice and an eight-sided dice and multiplying them together to get a character’s health score. In programming, subroutines and functions are tools that allow us to write reusable code that can be used in multiple parts of our program. ![]()
